QuiltWest Raffle Drawn at Sewing Day
The draw for the QuiltWest raffle was held at SAC on Tuesday after Sewing Day. The ticket stubs were all placed in a box and then Lesley sealed up the box before tossing it around to ensure they were well mixed up. Janice stepped in to make sure the box did not go flying.
There were a number of WAQA members in attendance to ensure the draw was done correctly. A WAQA member that now lives in Victoria drew the prize winning tickets out of the box. The prize winners were being contacted to let them know that had won one of the three prizes in the raffle.
The amount raised for the Royal Flying Doctor Service will also be announced once all the expenses have been finalised and then deducted. A big thank you to all that sold tickets and/or bought tickets with an even bigger thank you to those members that worked behind the scenes in setting up the raffle.
