Perth Modern Quilt Guild: meets monthly to quilt, sew, socialise and share their ‘quilting obsession’. In between meetings they share a love of modern fabrics and quilting online through various social media forums. http://perthmodernquiltguild.com
The Quilt Study and Textile Group of Western Australia (QTSGWA) aims to provide opportunities to view, examine and discuss the construction and merits of a range of textiles including old and contemporary quilts, clothing/costumes and accessories, household textiles and textile based art work.
The members meet every 2 months (March to November), usually on a Saturday afternoon to either hear a guest speaker, visit an exhibition or a museum collection, or visit the studio of a local textile artist and/or quilt maker.

Sister City Friendship: In 1990 Sister City Friendship saw integration with the Kagoshima Quilters in Japan and an invitation extended to their quilting groups to send quilts to the Fifth Biennial Quilt Exhibition. Several Japanese members brought their quilts and spent a very pleasant week attending the Exhibition and enjoying the sights of Perth.
