Soup for the Quilters at Judging Weekend
Whilst having a bowl of soup for lunch today, I realised that this time last week I was heading to SAC to help out with setting up for the QuiltWest Judging Weekend. It was an incredibly busy weekend, with members braving the cold weather to turn up and help out with getting approximately 170 quilts photographed and judged.
The soup provided by Lesley Warren and Gwen Parry for lunch on Saturday was just what everyone needed to warm up on a very very cold day.
There was not one, but three choices of soup available, with some people having a cup of each of the soups, and others going for second helpings. Recipes were requested and are listed below (I’ve made the Moroccan Tomato & Red Lentil Soup – so easy and just love it).
A very big thankyou to Lesley and Gwen for providing the hot soup on the day.
