WAQA Quilt Collection on Show Tomorrow

The entire WAQA Quilt Collection was carefully unpacked at Handcrafters House today.

Most quilts were hung on the walls of the workshop space in the store. Six quilts too delicate to be hung, were laid out on tables to allow visitors to get a close up view of the work.

The quilts will be on show tomorrow 9am to 5pm, Friday 9am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am to 3:30pm. If you want to learn how to store your quilts to keep them in the best condition possible, come along after lunch on Saturday when the WAQA Quilt Collection will be packed away.

In addition to the Quilt Collection there are also displays from Community Quilts, the Contemporary Quilt Group and the Hexagon/Crazy Quilt Club.
