AGM is on This Wednesday Evening

The Annual General Meeting of the West Australian Quilters Association is on Wednesday 2nd October at Alexander Park Craft House in Menora.

Doors open at 6:30pm with the meeting starting at 7:00pm. The AGM is an opportunity for all members to hear what WAQA has done over the past year, including the highlights of each coordinators’ team. The 2024/2025 Management Committee will be elected and the appointed General Committee confirmed.

There will also be presentations from prize-winning WAQA members Jan Fozard, Jenni-Lee Christison and Caroline Simm. These very talented quilters have won prizes in state or national exhibitions for some of their quilts, so I’m sure they will be interesting speakers.

There is no charge for attending and tea or coffee with a light supper will be provided, so bring your own mug.
