Memories of Fremantle (Walyalup)
The Memories of Fremantle (Walyalup) Exhibition was officially opened yesterday. Eight members of the Pathfinders group contributed works to the exhibition. Pat Forster gave a talk explaining the categories of exhibits and what inspired the artists to produce their works. With almost all the artists in attendance at the opening, visitors were able to get more detailed explanations direct from the source.
The exhibtion closes on Oct 20, so get along to The Terrace Greenhouse (223 South Terrace, South Fremantle) between 10am-4pm. In addition to the gallery is a beautiful gift shop overflowing with unique and inspiring gifts, from plants and garden gifts, creations by local artists, homewares, pots, jewellery and books. There are also plenty of places nearby to enjoy a coffee and bite to eat.
