WAQA XMAS Party on Tuesday

This year we have turned November Sewing Day and Sewing Night, into our Christmas event.

The Entry Fee will be waived – this is a free event extended to all our members. Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t normally attend Sewing Day or Sewing Night, and you can participate in both events.

Please bring a plate of finger food to share at your table. If you don’t have a regular table, there will be room at the Loose Threads tables.

As usual, please bring your membership template and your own mug. Napkins and plates will be provided, but in an effort to reduce waste, please bring your own reusable crockery and cutlery if possible.

Tea and coffee will be provided as normal but as SAC is a licensed venue and as per the sign on the door people cannot BYO.

There will be prizes – best dressed; silliest outfit; best decorated table; miscellaneous other prizes.

Bring your Christmas-themed quilts, etc, for Show & Tell.

The library will not be open at either the day or night meetings. Community Quilts and Membership tables will only be open for a short time.

Our two Diamond Sponsor shops, Kennedys and Handcrafters’ House, will be joining us for the day and into the evening – a great chance to get everything you need to finish those Christmas gifts and decorations.

You can bring your sewing (hand or machine) - although there will be a little less time to sew than usual.

It should be a great day and evening, celebrating the end of year together. We hope to see you there.
